Andrew Harvey

Since February 2004 Andrew Harvey has co-presented the ITV News Channel's breakfast sequence with Lucy Alexander.

One of television's most experienced newscasters, Andrew Harvey joined ITN from the BBC in July 2000.

Andrew presented all the BBC's major news programmes, fronting BBC Breakfast Time from 1982-85, moving on to the Six O'Clock News and then the flagship Nine O'clock News.

In 1990 he returned to the morning programme to present the revamped Breakfast News, and after a stint on South Today he joined the BBC News 24 team in 1999.

Andrew is married with two children and lives in London.
